Just like a car, your body needs the right kind of fuel to keep it working properly and running at top speed! Dietary Analysis can help you look at whether the food you eat is giving you the right kind of nutrients to keep you healthy and 'on the road' . All kinds of people can benefit - whether you are looking to run a marathon, lose weight, beat PMS or improve your digestion - the food you choose to eat really can make a difference.

How Dietary Analysis works

First, you keep a diary of everything you eat for 4 days. I then use computer software to analyse the 4-day food diary and assess whether your current dietary intake  is giving you enough nutrients to meet Government Guidelines. The information from the analysis coupled with clinical information from a detailed  health check questionnaire provides a wealth of information to help understand where any 'weak spots' are in your current diet and inform the nutritional programme.

We then discuss the findings in a 1:1 consultation and work together to identify easy adjustments to your current diet and simple next steps to put your plans into action. I am a qualfied N.L.P.Practitioner and incorporate coaching techniques into the Dietary Analysis Programme. For those who have had motivational problems or other 'blocks' to past nutritional and diet programmes, I also offer an enhanced Nutrition Coaching Package with additional NLP sessions. 

The dietary programme we agree is negotiated and tailored directly to you. It includes realistic food and meal suggestions - I believe gradual changes are better than crash diets and 'detox days' so there will be no need to clear the contents of the fridge into your bin at the end of our first session!

You leave your consultation armed with your own detailed report showing you exactly where your diet may be lacking in key nutrients,vitamins and minerals and an agreed example diet plan. Follow up consultations over a three month period are used to review and refine your plan. By then you will have gained enough knowledge to really take things forward and head off down the road to better nutrition.
